Work has begun on a new SEND Inclusion Hub for The Hamble School, delivered in partnership with Hampshire County Council through the Southern Modular Building Framework (SMBF). The building will provide a learning environment that supports students requiring specialist educational provision within a mainstream school.

The full turnkey six-bay modular building has been designed to create a flexible and supportive environment for both students and staff. The facility will include two classrooms, a life skills room, a group room, office and meeting spaces, alongside all associated welfare facilities, including accessible WC provision.

Manufacturing of the building is currently underway at Rollalong’s factory, where the modules are being produced in a controlled environment before delivery to the site. This approach helps ensure consistent quality, improved programme certainty and reduced disruption to the school during construction.

Updates will be added throughout the project as manufacturing progresses and the building moves towards installation and completion.
