Our Vision

At the heart of our business is a wealth of experience, our ability to innovate and our passion for providing high-quality products and services.

Our team has over 50 years of experience in offsite and modular volumetric construction and we combine that tradition with a pioneering and innovative approach to Modern Methods of Construction.

Our flexible approach and ‘can do’ attitude means we provide our customers with excellent service and high-quality engineered buildings, more quickly and more efficiently than other methods of construction.

Our vision is to be the market leader across the south of England, championing a modular first approach for our clients across all sectors in our region.

Thanks to our location and our long history, we benefit from a robust supply chain and work with delivery partners who fully understand our business and our product. This enables a smooth transition from design and manufacture to delivery and installation and further adds to the social value of the overall Rollalong business.

Our current business model is to procure factory materials locally wherever possible, and currently 25% of all factory purchases are made in Dorset or Wiltshire. We are also committed to procuring sub-contractor labour under the same principles: over 25% of the procurement for each house type is made within the local area.

We are extremely proud of our regional delivery model which could be rolled out throughout the UK to help solve the housing crisis. Our vision is of local communities built by local people, using local manufacturers and local supply chain partners – we are creating systemic change in our transition toward a circular economy in the South West.

Health and Safety

Rollalong Ltd is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and others affected by our undertakings.

We operate to a comprehensive H&S Management System which is certified to the requirements of PAS91, the Common Assessment Standard, and SSIP.

Our objective is to achieve zero work-related accidents and ill health.

This is achieved through:

Identifying and mitigating workplace safety and health risks
Providing information, instruction, training and supervision to enable all employees to avoid hazards and contribute positively to their health and safety at work
Promoting good health and providing education relating to the prevention of occupational and non-occupational disorders and diseases
Complying fully with health and safety legislation and with client-specific requirements
Engaging with our stakeholders and supply chain colleagues to ensure that their health and safety standards and practices meet or exceed the expectations of this policy
Aiming to continually improve our health and safety Investigating accidents, near misses and unsafe acts or conditions to ensure corrective, preventative actions and opportunities for improvement are identified
Applying a robust audit and inspection programme to measure the effectiveness of policies, training and procedures
Consulting with employees and others affected by our activities on matters affecting health and safety, and facilitating the sharing of knowledge and lessons learned.
